    Hi, JJ…

I just finished about 1/2 of your blog. You’re very courageous to have LIVED your life after all the drama and trauma you’ve experienced. We all make stupid mistakes and misguided choices at some point in our lives…goodness knows I have. The point of the past is to teach, the point of the present is implement what we’ve learned and the point of looking at the future is to know that we can still dream (wow! that was profound! think I’ll copy/paste that to a draft for one of my posts…and I’ll give the credit to you!!!).

Granny always said there was no point crying over spilt milk, Mama said “What’s done is done.”

But my own philosophy is this: I may not be proud of the things I have done but I will no longer be ashamed, for without all those mistakes in my life I would not be the person I am today.

“I am who I am because I was who I was. I WILL be who my God created me to be and end my days with contentment, and with the joy of knowing what awaits through that final door”

(hmmm…there’s another one! Wow, you really ARE an inspiration!!)

Thank you for following my blog. If you’re interested later on, I have about a tektillion more you might like. I’m preparing for my retirement, you see, and blogs and websites will keep me busy until “The End”!!!

    All the best, m’dearie!

Hi there! I’ve nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award for your wonderful blog! I hope that you will accept! You can see the simple rules at this link: http://sherrimatthewsblog.wordpress.com/ Congratulations!

  4. Fascinating! You’ve opened up a whole new world. I’m flattered that you should be interested in my blog. As you will have seen if you had a look around, you and I could hardly be more different. But isn’t that what makes it all so interesting?

I don’t how you would describe yourself (or even if you would spend time doing so) but I’m a 65-year-old, left wing, no-longer-English, pseudo-intellectual, whose main interests are my dog, cricket, photography and climate change.

Looking forward to your next post. RW

JJ, After getting the little email showing that you have begun following my blog I began reading yours. Fascinating! I can see you have been at this for some time now, looking at your site index. I am still trying to put the page together, graphics-wise, and in organizing content. Since I am a Super-Novice in this venture I am extremely flattered to have an audience member already! I am very excited to finally have my creativity and imagination put to the test. The experiences I already have, putting them out to the world in a blog that is interesting will be the daily challenge. Thanks for ‘Following’ and I welcome any commentary or helpful critique you may wish to make about my blog…I hope to be able to learn from folks like yourself who are veritable masters in this arena. Congrats to you for your nominations and great site content!

JJ ………. thank you for checking out Tubularsock. I have read many of your posts and like your work. You are a great story teller and your book will be pretty damn good it seems to me.

You seem to have played with the big boys. From my frame of reference working for the cartels and working for the DEA are pretty much the same group. And both are dangerous people to be around!

It appears today the big banks launder the cartel money more easily than when you were moving it in suit cases. Just think if you had became a bank executive you could have moved larger amounts without the threat of the DEA over you. Oh well, live and learn.

    Hey there,
Thank you for following my blog a few mths ago! I just wanna share with you that I have recently changed host (nearly died along the way 🙂 ) and if you like, please come again to my blog and you can type in your email address as with the change in host from wordpress, new posts will not get delivered to your email address like the last time. So if you like posts to get delivered to your email address like the past, you have to type in your email again. It only appears in your reader now, so if that works for you, then it is ok.

By the way, reading your posts is unlike many of the ‘fluffy’ blogs out there, your writing is real and i have enjoyed it. Thank you.

Thank you and i hope you have a great wk!

My name is Iris. I was his girlfriend. The reason I am writing to you on James’ Blog is because I wanted to let all his bloggers know that he has passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013. He has died of an pneumonia. His body was found in his apartment by his best friend Jay Valerio on Monday, December 23rd. He never mentioned to anyone that he was ill or feeling ill. It has been a devastation to me and all his love ones. He was my best friend and the greatest guy you could ever meet. I pray everyday that God has him in his Glory.

I am so sorry Iris, to hear this. Prayers going to you and family and friends.
